The Miko Coffee story began in Belgium over two hundred and twenty years ago in a town called Turnhout by our founder Leo Michielsen and has since grown into one of the largest coffee roasters in Europe.
In the early years, we focussed on producing and selling roasted coffee beans to local businesses and individuals. However, the company expanded the offer over time, adding new products such as ground coffee, coffee pods, and other coffee-related products.In the mid-20th century, Miko Coffee expanded its operations beyond Belgium, opening new facilities and distribution centres in other countries. Today, the company has a presence in over forty countries worldwide, propelling us as one of the top coffee roasters in Europe.
